Nice to meet you at Dogs in Need last week. My partner had been extolling the tastiness of your coffee and is insistent that you MUST be at more agility shows. In fact, he was not the only one to say how good your coffee and other things are; and how welcome.

A day in the life of Kookaburra Coffee - so you think it's easy in mobile coffee catering?
A weekend event usually starts on a friday, travelling to and then setting up my van ready for an early start next day; and an early start it will be. Just one more of the joys of making the business of coffee catering mobile. Coffee catering does have its plus points though; whether it's at dog agility shows, horse events or even a music festival - what are these plus points? read on to find out.
I usually rise around 6am jump through the shower and feel fresh and ready for the long day ahead.
Getting into the trailer at around 6.30/45 I turn on the coffee machine and proceed to check all is in place ready for opening.
On regular occasions I have a few kookaburra coffee addicts poking their heads in the back door, wondering how long before they can get their first hit of the day. Well, everyone has their own way to get their heart pumping this early - but we think it's a good idea.
Once the coffee machine is up to temperature and all systems are go, it's time to open up for the day; and even though you have just looked out and cannot see a soul, it is quite often the case in the mobile coffee catering game that once you open the hatch then you are swamped with customers (I think they lie in wait!).
The day usually passes quite quickly as, being by myself at most of the events, I am kept rather busy - thankfully. I think my dedication to making a perfect Kookaburra coffee shines through; and this is what makes a Kookaburra coffee such a sought after product.
I love the interaction with my customers while serving them and really strive to make them feel special; and when time permits this sometimes entails jumping out of the trailer to cheer up a despondent customer with a kookaburra coffee cuddle; no charge; total strangers included. And yes, I cannot be Discriminatory, even giving the men a cuddle too; much to their shock and surprise. But we all have a good laugh.
My day generally winds down around 6pm after clean up, I finish with a quick stock take before heading to get more supplies for the following day. Once that is sorted I settle down to a nice glass of red and an interesting meal that I have made for myself. Otherwise its off to the nearest Pub!!
Hope to see you soon at Kookaburra Coffee to sample arguably one of the best mobile coffee catering experiences in the UK.
